Cover Wars

Here we have the US vs. UK cover of Shiver. Personally, I love the UK version the best. It catches my eye, and I really like the red leaf that is red, and drips, dotting the I. It shows how the story is haunted and hopeful. Although, the US version shows the wolf, hiding in the "woods" and the blue indicated the cold weather, which Sam takes on as his wolf form, which cannot be stopped. What do you think about them? Which do you prefer?

---------------------UK---------------------------------------US--------------------

For years, Grace has watched the wolves in the woods behind her house. One yellow-eyed wolf - her wolf - is a haunting presence she canÂ’t seem to live without. Meanwhile, Sam has lived two lives: In winter, the frozen woods, the protection of the pack, and the silent company of a fearless girl. In summer, a few precious months of being human -- until the cold makes him shift back again. Now, Grace meets a yellow-eyed boy whose familiarity takes her breath away. ItÂ’s her wolf. It has to be. But as winter nears and the temperature drops, Sam must fight to stay human or risk losing himself, and Grace, forever.

I like both, but I like the contrast between the black red and white with the UK one, it catches my eye more like you said.
